Magic isn’t always clean, shiny, or sweet — sometimes it’s gritty, raw, and rooted in the earth itself. In this class, we’ll explore the hidden powers of sacred soils and how they’ve been used for protection, justice, and rebalancing the scales in folk traditions around the world. From crossroads dust to graveyard dirt, red clay to garden soil, participants will learn the spiritual signatures of different earths and how to work with them responsibly. We’ll discuss the history of soil-based practices in Hoodoo and global witchcraft, ethical considerations for collecting, and step-by-step workings for shielding, reversal, and setting boundaries. Expect both practical instruction and guided ritual work. By the end, you’ll understand how to use the very ground beneath your feet as an ally in your spiritual practice.

You’ve heard it from us before— the path of the Animal Totem is the path of deep knowledge of the inner self. But . . . so what?? How does that help in a witch’s daily life??Your Nine animal totems are each connected to an aspect of your sacred self, but they are also your direct personal connection to the magickal energies of the universe: earth, air, fire, water, dark, light, and the masculine and feminine of the divine. In this workshop, we take a deep dive into the practical application of Totems in the practice of magick. Learn how you can use your totems to invoke and send energies, cast spells, cast a better and stronger circle, center and ground yourself, and shield and protect yourself and others. Use totemic knowledge as a tool to up your magickal game!

It will include guidance for how to create trauma-conscious devotional practices, rituals, and community spaces. In this class we invite you to explore the nature of sigil magic and personal symbolism and examine how they may be effectively employed in meaningful and powerfully effective ways in your craft. During the course of the class we will examine various examples of magical Sigils, Amulets, Talismans, and approaches towards their construction and use. And finally we will discuss methods for the crafting of uniquely personal symbol sets, sigils, and even magical scripts, ciphers, and alphabets which may serve to enrich your magical practice in new and innovative ways.

Today’s discourse about Artificial Intelligence focuses on marketing and automation, centering the impact of technology on capitalism, labor, and privacy. But if we look back at the last half-century of developments in the fields that gave us this technology, we see a number of cutting-edge thinkers offering new ways to understand the relationship between technology and consciousness. Transhumanism, Autopoiesis theory, and the artificial life movement are just a few examples of radical approaches to life and consciousness that emerged from highly scientific and technological fields, only to be sidelined. However, these “radical” views in transhumanism and neuroscience have surprising overlap with core elements of hermetic and esoteric philosophies. In this talk I will focus on two specific ideas that have emerged from scientific fields – “autopoiesis” in evolutionary biology and the “closest continuer view” (CCV) in transhumanist philosophy – and I will examine their relationship to creative visualization, energy work, and past life exploration. By looking at these examples, I hope to motivate further inquiry into the broad overlap between theoretical ideas in transhumanism and neurophilosophy and the exploration of personal magickal practice.

Join Shiloh in an exploration of the Nordic Runes. Participants will learn the history of Runes, both as letters and a language, why they are used, how to use them, and lastly they get to create their own runic necklace. Shiloh guides the class in understanding the symbols and their meanings, in a way that is easy to memorize and different from other methods of learning. For the necklace, each participant will be given the opportunity to select the Rune(s) they resonate with the most and strings them together to form a unique necklace. Everyone will have a personalized Runic necklace as a special token of creativity and learning. In order to assure your place to make a necklace, please book yourself for the class in advance.

Dive into one of the most important and useful building blocks of ceremonial magick: the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP). This ritual offers practitioners a powerful tool to cleanse and fortify themselves spiritually. Your magick and spiritual hygiene can be taken to the next level with proper use of this ritual. In this workshop you will learn all about this classic ritual and practical advice on how to do it. Different versions of this ritual will be explored so that you can personalize this practice to fit into your individual beliefs. The LBRP can be practiced alone or combined with other types of magick or ritual. It is a highly customizable and adaptable tool. Additionally, as part of this workshop, you will receive handouts with the basic ritual and diagrams of the pentagrams.

Curious about Hades, the Host of Many, Ruler of the Underworld? In this presentation, Jamie will share both well-known and obscure bits of Hades' mythos, introduce you to the magic and mysteries of the Underworld, and deconstruct some of the common misunderstandings about this enigmatic god from Greek mythology. We'll also discuss how to approach a working or devotional relationship with Hades, and engage in a guided trance journey to the Underworld.
